Extended Warranty

I have a 2003 F250 Super Duty 2x4...I was wondering what I should expect to pay for a drivetrain extended warranty. And does it vary from dealer to dealer...

my xtend warranty cost me 1100.- I think it was the secound package up--any way it was worth as my tranny went at 42k and ball joints etc..

I'd check with warranty direct at www.warrantydirect.com.
They offer a way better warranty than Ford for a lot less and they're backed up by an A rated insurer and reinsurer so they're solid. They quoted me a full coverage warranty for 5 additional years and 100,000 miles for $2000. Ford wanted $3800.
