I recently bought a 2026 SuperCab with the Ford OEM Platform Running Boards. I like the boards, but would like to raise them up with F150 Brackets.
Are there specific years for F150 Brackets I need to utilize for our 2023+ SD's?
I installed the F-150 brackets on mine about 3 months ago. I had to source the brackets from craigslist as I could not find them in stock anywhere online.
A word of caution, when removing the long brackets from your stock boards do it BY HAND with a ratchet. A power tool will break the nut plate from its base inside the board and you will never be able to fish it back to its original position.
Also, when you have the boards off you will notice what flimsy plastic they are. Without the 3 brackets, they would be unusable.
IMO, they do look better tucked up and still glad I did it.
