2025 f350 DRW…I love the camera image that displays when I use the turn signal while pulling a trailer. Is there a way to keep this feature on when not pulling a trailer?

Dunno if there is. Would be very nice if there was, or if there was a way to access those views when backing a trailer. My FIL had...I think it was a '19 F450...that you could select the side view cameras like that while backing a trailer. Granted no substitute for turning your head but still nice to be able to have a different perspective, especially on/down the passenger side.
I was wondering that as well OP! My '26 F350, that I just brought home, will only display the "turn camera" when I'm hooked up to a trailer. My wife's '26 Expedition will show the turn camera with no trailer attached...which I like as a feature. Kinda bizarre!
Gat a 7 pin plug and plug it in. Let us know if it does the trick.
The empty plug doesn’t work. However if I wire a 12v bulb onto the plug it tricks the system into thinking a trailer is connected and the camera works. I think I’ll wire a plug with two bulbs and plug it into the socket inside the bed. Could probably use a couple of resistors instead of bulbs. I’ll give it a try.
My 25 Lariat w/360 allows me to have a camera on the big screen 24/7.
I have it setup to view the side cams while running down the road.
Does yours ever get the black boxes in the center of the screen advising that full view is not available? I've had it happen and then got into FORScan to get rid of it. Sometimes I think over the air updates or when a dealer has performed module updates brings the black box back.
I can also view any of the cameras for as long as desired while driving.

I removed the black box within a week of delivery. Haven't had an issue at all since 01/25.
The problem with tricking the system with a Ghost Plug. Is you loose your Blind Spot and reverse back up sensor. Since the truck thinks you have a trailer behind you, It turns those sensor off.
My '25 Lariat F350 Tremor will NOT let me see the side cams unless I have a turn signal active. Did you make changes with ForSCAN?
My sideview cam will not work until I have a trailer hooked up & turn signal active.
While running down the road, no trailer, no turn signal. I have both the driver & pass side view(split) on my big screen.
The only time I have seen the full screen side view is while trailering and signals on.
i have a ghost plug that worked and turned on the camera while not towing, I know that I'm in the minority here, but turned mine off, to me it just get's annoying and in the way takes up the whole screen, can't see navigation, and night driving it messes with my eyes
