Hello, I'm new to this forum, but was in the IDI forum for many years a long time ago. I appreciate the combined knowledge of this group.
I have a 2017 F-350 CCLB Lariat 6.7 Powerstroke, 163k on the odometer.
I am having a few problems that all seem to be electrical related. I first started getting a "Charging System Service Now" warning, even though the charging system has been checked and working correctly. More recently, The truck randomly won't turn over completely, and seems to be worse in cold weather. Also, almost every time I start the truck, especially if it has sat for any length of time, it returns to the "Configure MyViews" screen. From the limited research I have done, it seems that these are consistent problems. Any advice on where to start? TIA.
These trucks are super sensitive to electrical loading deficiencies.
When these sort of faults happen, the first thing to always do is get the batteries LOAD tested.
Load tested, not just voltage, to check the health of the batteries.
And, the batteries have to be tested individually, so at least one battery needs to be disconnected from the truck, since the batteries are interconnected.
Otherwise, you will get a false reading.
And, if you find that only one of the batteries tests bad, you should replace both to keep a matched set as far as age and condition.
Agree 100% as stated above by Ltngdrvr. Your symptoms are pointing toward common battery issues.
If you go with new batteries two common outlets are Costco or Walmart due to very good warranties throughout the country. Also go with a minimum of maintenance free and ideally AGM over lead acid.
Thanks for the replies, the batteries are from Walmart, They are the 850 CCA maxx ones.and less than a year, but I'll have them tested. It would be great if that is all that it is.

Very likely.
Those are the batteries I have, been replaced once under their warranty.
I had to explain to the walmart mechanic that he had to disconnect one battery before testing after he tried without and the test showed good.
After he disconnected one battery they both tested bad.
So, keep an eye on the mechanic and what he is doing.
I would look into the batteries as well. I purchased 2 of the maxx deep cycle ones 2 years ago for my travel trailer and had 1 go bad only a year in. Battery tested bad at the store by me. Age of the batteries means nothing.
