Would appreciate any advice on how to fix this rusty spot in my floor pan for the battery box. I have used a wire wheel to get most of the rust off and have 18 gauge steel for the patch. I have been practicing welding sheet metal and think I am good with that. I have POR-15 for after the weld. But that 18 gauge does not bend easy so the shaping maybe an interesting adventure.
I ended up running over to the barn after all. I took 2 pictures, one with flash and one without. I think it looks pretty good.
Man that looks great. I don't need the whole thing, just the corner and lip portion on the passenger door side. I will weld the lip to the current floor pan. My pan is solid except for the batter lip for some reason. Would mind doing a deal on just that portion?
Sure, just tell me how far from the corner on the long side you want it cut and how far on the short leg. I bet we can get that in a mailer envelope. Here’s a picture of stuff we’ve been cutting out.

Thanks, will measure it tonight and get back to you.
I have an old cab that we’ve been cutting parts out of. I’ll have to check how good it is, but I bet we can help you out.

I measured and 2” X 6” would be perfect. I sent you a PM but your account is full.
