A friend of mine is in need of a pair of headers for his 79 F250 4X4 supercab. He already has the motor (429) installed using the conversion motor mounts since the truck originally came with a 351M.
He's on a low budget and I was trying to help him locate a set that will fit his truck. He doesn't have access to a computer. I have done some searching on the net and found some at L & L for $495.00 but I know he can't swing that. Any other places to look?
You might also try Stan's Headers. He's in Auburn, WA (I think just stansheaders.com). My quote for the 460 was $385 and I believe that's the exact same header for the 429. It's not cheap but it's the best price I was able to find anywhere for my truck. If you do a search you'll find there are several guys here who have had excellent luck with Stan's.

Thanks guys. I talked to Matt last night and he said he ordered some Heddman's from a local speed shop for $410. If for some reason they don't fit or he doesn't want them, I'll let him know about Stan's.
