ran when parked?

I have a question, when the ad says ran when parked, and they post a picture that looks like this, how long has it been parked?

"ran when parked" is a common expression these days. It doesn't scare me away if I can stand there and examine it, but on an auction site it becomes scary. Why was it parked ? "ran when parked"...parked because it used more oil than gas. parked because its so rusty the door won't shut. Parked because we ran the diff out of oil and it sounds like a bomb ready to go off.

If its a project truck thats irrelevant as most will going thru everything to rebuild it. Just a sales pitch for the ignorant

In the Hoh Rain Forest just to my West that's about 2 weeks' worth. It certainly helps build patina quickly...
