I have two complete vehicles for a swap. An econoline 250 (2012) with the 2 valve 5.4, and a 2010 f-250 with the 3 valve 5.4. I have the phisical components to out the 2 valve in the f-250 but i need help making the electronics match. I have a paid forscan license and the proper hardware. I am looking for help programming a 2 valve 5.4 with a 5R110W. Any insight would be great. I am willing to buy programs or tunes but i don't know where or what to get.

 

What is wrong with the 3 valve engine? If you need a bottom end for the three valve the crank, rods and block are the same as the Econoline engine. The pistons are different but are free floating so they are easy to change. Rebuild the top end and timing and you have the correct engine that will plug and play. I just built a 2 valve for my 04 Expedition with a perfect crank, bearings and rods from a 4 valve Navigator engine.

 

The 2 valve is complete and runs great. I dont Need to buy anything or take apart a whole motor to make it work. It would be far les work and money to find a way to program the computer. I know the programming can be done and it would make the swap easy. For the right person or company it is a relatively simple task. I just need help finding that person or company.

 

Have you considered using the Econoline pcm? Did it have the 5R110? It might plug and play with a security relearn.
