BoxLink

Never a fan. Also don't care for the new, latest and greatest plates that have the built in rachet straps.

For $50, I went on Amazon and got a set of low tech, tried and true D-rings.

HI, is this a direct bolt on? If so, could you share the link on Amazon. thanks

E-Track accessories clip right in to the original Boxlink brackets.

I have the Box Links that came with my 22, not the things that come on them now. They work great, especially considering the bed is made of aluminum. Figured if I needed to tighten something so tight that the box links couldn’t handle it, I figure the sidewalls likely wouldn’t either. I did however add some pocket stake tie outs that come in handy when I just want to throw something on top of the tonneau.

Why do some of you assume that I want to crank down on the D-rings?

I bought the D-rings because I don't care for the plates that came in the truck and I don't care for the boxlink system.

Since I was going to spend the money, I got what I want.

Bought a used Retrax retractable bed cover today. Love it.

If you are referring to me, I didn't make that assumption... that was your assumption. lol My truck came with the boxlinks, so I didn't have to buy anything extra. And I imagine that they will hold up just fine for anything that the bed itself could handle, and I like them because they are super easy to hook to.

Glad you like the ones you have.

Yep. That's the advantage to the actual BoxLink plates, instead of what they switched to in I think '25.

I like the looks of those D-ring plates! If you did get the boxlink plates, there are D-ring attachments that snap right in, among many other options.

My early ‘24 had the new style plates in it. My buddy’s ‘23 still had boxlink plates

Then it was '24 that they switched. Either way I am disappointed my '25 doesn't have them, and at some point when I have some free time and warm weather I plan to get a set and swap out the ones I've got. They work, but they're not as handy or as universal.
