Restomod build in Alberta
Hey everyone.
So i have posted in the 73-79 truck section but i see that is more resto build stuff. What I have going on is a 1973 F100 body swap going onto a 2011 F150 rear wheel drive with coyote and a 6R80 trans. So far i have cabs swapped and now i will swap the boxes so i can start to measure and modify the 2011 frame. I have to go from a 145" wb to the stock 133" wb of the 73. After that I will align the bed and then set the cab up so the body lines match up. I have a feeing i will either use the 2011 cab frame mounts or modify the 73 to work on the chassis.
Lots of work but i will feel it will all be worth it in the end.

14” cut out of the 2011 F-150 frame to match the 73 wheel base.
Cab and box together on the 2011 frame. The box and body sit too high for my liking so I may cut the cross braces on the box to lower it and then I can reset how the cab sits. It almost looks like a 4x4 truck.
