2016 6.7. I think i have an injector knock. But I’m deaf (lost hearing as an adult) with an implant and it makes troubleshooting very tough.
My forscan with year sub doesn't give me a low pressure pump pid to see what its doing. And secondly doesn't allow me to turn injectors off. Its all just greyed out. Anyone else with this issue? Possible solution? I just downloaded the latest version.
Tks for the reply. I acquired a new license just to make sure it wasn't outdated, I had a month left but worth a shot. Didn't correct issue but did get the forscan support email address with the purchase. The answer is below and solved the issue. If you dont understand the answer its basically just saying to play some other pids within the pcm or whatever module youre working in. Playing 1 was not enough so i selected 4 pids within the pcm and played them, it then allowed me to do my injector cuts. Further, I’d seen posts unresolved about not seeing the “FLP” pid (low pressure pump output pressure); it is only available on 17 and up trucks per forscan support. Long reply but Id seen posts on both of the above issues without resolve. Lastly, forscan support emailed me back within 2 hrs at 0130 in the morning. Pretty incredible.
Forscan support reply link for injector cut greyed out:Hello,
You have to start reading some PIDs in the same module. This article explains how it works:
