testing fuel pump relay

HI GANG
AM NEW TO ALL THIS AND ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS IS NOT MY CUP OF TEA.
HOW DO I TEST THE FUEL PUMP RELAY OR THE EEC RELAY TO SEE IF THEY WORK? MY FUEL PUMP IS NOT TURNING ON.
OF COURSE I AM DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO NOT REMOVE TANK AND REPLACE FUEL PUMP!

the cap of the fuel pump relay comes off to see the moving parts. get somebody to watch it with the cap off while you turn the key. if it moves and contacts then it works. do this for both.sometimes ants get inside the relay and cause it not to function right. i have seen this done with a truck that was driven all the time. if ants do get in there. you can clean it out with a toothpick or an airhose
