How do I remove this hub assembly in order to get the axle out to replace the U-joint? Do I pull whole kingpin assembly off? 1989 f350 4x4 7.3 idi. Believe its a Dana 60 king pin.

The spindle that the bearings ride on comes off. Looks like you already took the nuts off that holds it together. Its a pretty tight fit inside the knuckle, if you have a slide hammer with the right attachment that should work pretty well.
You want to be careful to not bugger up the threads or where the bearings ride. Hitting it with a brass or lead hammer may work, if you don't have one, put a piece of wood against the spindle and the hit that with whatever hammer you do have. Tap your way around it to wiggle it loose. Might be able to pop it loose with a chisel around the edge as well.
Once you have the spindle off, the axle pulls straight out and you can replace the u-joint.
What about the oil seals for the axles inside the housing?
Is it recommended to replace them while the axles are out?
I suppose the diff needs to be drained and carrier removed to access them?
