There are a few connections and the camera doesn’t go to the APIM (sync 3), it goes to the IPMB (Image Processing Module B) then to the APIM through a 3 wire analog connection.

There is a connector from tailgate to frame harness, another connector from frame harness to cab harness and then into the IPMB.

Where is the connection to the cab harness? Is it in the cab or under the drivers side corner of the bed?

I am going to have to replace the cable since I have been told it is nearly impossible to repair the fakra connection.
