Hey,
Have you guys seen the 69 F250 Crew Cab on ebay?
{auction # 2447698353}
He says only 700 of them made?
What do you guys know about his production number?
It just looks like any other crewcab to me with a utility bed installed.
Don't know anything about numbers, but I have seen at least one of these trucks in my neck of the woods. I'll try and get a picture when I head that way again. Don't know what year...68 or 69 and it has regular bed. Did snag a Ford Promo shot of a 68 so I know they built them then. It's in my gallery...sorry, I'm not very good at the picture thing.
I have a 69 crewcab 4x4. They are very rare but when it comes to deciphering numbers you have to be careful. He really doesn't say what the 1 of 700 is. 1 of 700 ordered without a body or 1 0f 700 with a factory service body? I'd believe that. We do know there were 6,093 F250 4x2 and 641 F250 4x4 chassis-cab units (81) built in 69. I don't know if there are accurate figures of how many of those were crewcabs. But when you start optioning the trucks out you could very easily have a 1 of 1 truck on your hands.
Rab,
now your 69 crew is extreeeeeeemly rare due to that stepside short box 4wd! That is one sweet truck you got there. I have only seen one other pre 72 like yours, it is near me in Idaho- A guy bought it from a local fire dept. they owned since new. Very nice shape and got it for $1200 I think. Too bad, because I talked to the guy and he had serious additute. He doesn't deserve it. Anyways, nice ride Rab.
