hey all.
have a 2005 f350 lariat with steering wheel stereo controls. wanting to put in a screen with CarPlay and retain the ability to use the buttons on the wheel for volume, skip, etc.
what screen stereos are best? is there a kit that is pretty straightforward for install?
If anyone has done something like this I'd love to see and hear what you have done

 

not in my 05 f250 but in my 2011 mustang i used crutchfield and sonic electronix who helped with the needed pigtails. nice clean installation ,

Alpine etc. They also have a service where they’ll prewire the interface to your new head unit (for a small fee) which pretty much makes it plug and play.
