I live in Louisiana and I just recently purchased a brand new 2025 F250 Lariat Fx4 with the 6.7 HO. Black out and in. Black exterior certainly wouldn’t have been my first choice, but it was my only choice. It was the only 2025 Lariat that I could find with the HO and no sunroof and the deal was too good to pass up. I have been a marine outboard engine technician and electronics installation expert for 23+ years working all along the northern Gulf Coast. I have started my own business and will need the truck in order to be as successful as possible.

My previous truck is a 2012 F150 Lariat 4x4 with the 5.0L V8. It has an estimated 312,000 miles (287k+ on the odometer while running larger 34” tires all its life and never reprogrammed) and is still on the original engine and transmission. It has been a great truck and taken me everywhere I asked without problems or hesitation. I will miss it but it’s time to step up into something more capable of helping me do my job and hopefully not worrying about.

Our 7.5 year old son passed away in 2023 from a genetic disorder. He was our life. He still is. Now all we have left is our dogs to spoil. We have a GSP and a red heeler mix that we got a few months before we lost our son. I hunt almost every bird possible with the GSP and travel far distances to accomplish this. Having this new truck will definitely help to expand on that as well as the non-hunting travel with both dogs.

I don’t plan on doing much more to the new truck that what I had with the old one. Hidden winch, small level and tires that don’t look like I’ll get stuck in wet grass.
