Well my friends, I know I am new around here, but I must share this experience with you. Today I watched my 60 drive away with a new owner. A sad day indeed. I was vary attached to that old truck, and am sad to see it go.
You may ask, WHY? Well, I had the cjance to aquire my dream vehicle, and had to take it. A 1956 F-100 Big Window. I have helped my dad work on all the trucks he has had, and finally found one that was very solid, and affordable. I lack the space for both though, so I had to choose. I will post pics of the 56 real soon, and update them as I begin the transformation from farm truck, to cruiser.
I guess I will have to change my user name, 1cool56?
I hear the bigwindows are more expensive to operate. Driver and passengers must use gobs and gobs of suntan lotion on the back of their necks and ears. John Hey, it just occurred to me: maybe that is where the term redneck originated!
Big window are the Bomb!, I am on my 2nd 1960 and Yes they both were wraps(pics of both in gallery) replacement windows arent priced to bad either, seen a few companies that have them around 229-249
