Spent the morning yesterday doing tree and brush cleanup on part of our clubs snowmobile trails. Nobody was injured so that alone is a win. It went well but I sure was wore out after.
That's does sound exhausting. Good job to have done though.
Good morning Jay, Troy and MN. Have a trouble free day.
Trailered my sled up to Island Pond up in the northeast corner of the state, a couple hour drive. Put on 90 miles, had a full gamete or trail conditions, icy, bumpy, flat, frozen mud, deep snow. I would have had more but a 30 amp fuse melted and cut off all electrical. I was by myself. Fortunately a group of guys stopped and one of them towed me down to the road about 1.5 miles. My Uncle and Aunt happened to be at there camp in Island Pond and came and picked me up so I could get my truck/trailer then helped me load it.
You got a few miles on the before the big let down. Trails in the pics look good. So I'm assuming you will be carrying a spare fuses with you from now on.
I didn't take pictures of the bad ones . There was one that had probably 1/4 mile of frozen mud. But not much different than having to ride roads.
I will be replacing that fuse block but will carry a spare one of those fuses. I didn't think of it, but I could have just cut the wires and spliced together with no fuse but I didn't know really if something got ruined. I was pretty sure it melted from poor connection.
Sled was a dirty pig after being towed. Took a little while to clean it up yesterday. I think there was more mud and dirt inside it than on the outside
