First post on here, long time ford owner. I have a 2024 F250 XL and would like a simple solution to remove the tailgate when I want to load and unload the bed. Is there an after market solution to add connectors to the exposed portion of the harness between the tailgate and bed? My setup is just the basic camera and lock actuator. I am considering buying OEM connectors to add / splice in; however, I am curious if the problem / modification has already been dealt with by others.

It’s problems like this that make me miss my ‘76 Highboy.
