2024 F350 Leveling Kit
2024 F350 Leveling Kit
Hey guys, I have a 2024 F350 SRW and I’m wanting to install a leveling kit. I’ve been looking at the Readylift and BDS kits.(See links below). Does anyone have any experience with either of these kits? I had Readylift 2.5” kits on my 2017 and 2021, caster bushings, an alignment and they rode fine. I keep seeing that something changed in the front end in the 24+ trucks and you can’t add as much caster as previous years. Mine has a lockable passenger hub as well. Looking to see what needs to be done so that it still drives nice. Thanks in advance.

In 24 they added some kind of dust cover around the axle shaft. That will interfere with caster shims. Because it will make the axle shaft contact the shield when the knuckle rolls back. Here is an article from Carli that will articulate it better than I can.

I have the ReadyLift Coil spring Leveling kit on my 2023 truck. Coils, Falcon Shocks, Trackbar relocate, Caster shims. Currently at 75,000 miles and no problems.
I also have the ReadyAir LogIQ dual air bags, Since I tow a lot and I'm constantly change air pressure in the bags. I also have the ReadyAir dual front stabilizers
Happy to send you photos of any of it.

I haven't had direct contact with either of those kits. I have been running BDS radius arms for quite sometime, and they work like that track bar bracket with the keyed slot. They have worked well and seem to be a good value. Finish has remained intact and has held up as good as the trucks ecoated frame components.

Aside from just the radius arms/drop brackets, it concerns me to put together some kind of Frankenstein kit with pieces from several manufacturers in case something is wrong. I saw this from Carli, that’s partly what made me post here.
Painted Horse - Did you have to install radius arm drop brackets? It’s also weird that they’re saying the changes are for 2024+ trucks and 2023 is when the body style changed.

Most important part is that you can retain stock geometry specs. Not such a big deal on how you get there.
If you are worried about warranty of the lift components then I'm sure buying a "kit" would be a better idea. As I'm sure if something were to fail the companies involved would just blame the other parts. I just like living on the edge I guess.
Carli makes great stuff, but they are also pretty dang good at marketing. And would rather sell full kits, then see people piece together their own.
It is weird the change really only effected 24 yr model trucks and up. Not sure why Ford felt they needed that cover all of the sudden.

Not ready to buy yet with only 11k miles on the truck but based on my good experience with Bilstein 5100s on both Suburbans, I'm looking at the 5100 leveling kit from Shock Surplus when time comes. Not sure if I want the diesel springs or not, that seems to be the only difference. Probably the kit with spacers and shocks should be fine, though the only reason I'm leveling is to get the 5100s, which apparently don't like stock front ride height from what I gather. I figure to replace shocks and tires at the same time once the factory Bridgestones wear out.

Excellent! I wondered, as I didn't have that issue on either Suburban. 5100s just naturally raised each of them an inch or so but I never felt like I was bottoming them. I like the BDS package mentioned by the OP but I'm hearing the Fox shocks, which are tuned for running fast on washboards and deserts may be a little too soft for towing, which is where the Bilsteins have shined for me in the past. I'll just get 5100s and not worry about it when time comes. I see no need to replace the stock springs with the 6.8. Not even sure why you would need to on the diesel.
You can go up a shade or two, in front springs, if youre really worried about it.
Fox 2.0, plow springs, and 35's on 18, rides pretty well.
Frankenstein is the best option. Nobody knows what you want, more than you do. Over here, many of us run 35's and 2.5" shocks with extra compression (especially up front). It makes no sense to most tuners, to use that much shock with such little tires, and stock suspension travel.

In addition to that, I also put on ReadyAir LogIQ dual airbags on the rear to adjust the height as I hook up various trailers
And I installed the ReadyLift Dual front Stabilizers
And No I don't believe the body changed between 2023 and 2024. I'd call the ReadyLift engineers. I've found them very responsive to any questions.
