I'm about two hours north of there now on 70. It would be 4:30 before I got there. I hated to miss it but I didn't drive as far as I had hoped yesterday (not quite to Sioux City).
It's tough knowing where one will be on a cross-country trip. I had completely forgotten about it until the morning of the event when I remembered to check this thread and see the date. I pushed hard but would have been pretty late to it.
I got to my destination (Atlanta) yesterday afternoon. A shower was first on the list as 3 days in the car is a personal limit for overbearing odor.
If you post the date next year I will see what I can do and how that fits into the yearly road trip scheduling.
I'll try to post the information earlier next year to make it easier to plan a trip. I'm not sure who traveled the farthest this year but there were people that came from Detroit, Atlanta, Omaha and down by Baton Rouge LA so they came from all over. It was a fun time.
