While it's been a few years since I ordered some for an Aerostar, I've ordered quite a few for all different applications and I've never been disappointed from what I've received from RockAuto. The price is usually tough to beat. YMMV.
I've installed today a new pair of SACHS SG204001 bought @Rock ..dirt cheap as almost everything listed for our Aeros.
They're superstrong but one of the two has something like an internal stop when extended, whereas the other one hasn't.
The pitty thing right now is, that this increases the risk for the rear glass to go broke by axial force.
Don't ask how I know..
So for now and for my entire ownership I must me carefull to not let the Talegate open on its own from the point where it could..

Reason: crammar
i bought a sachs and a trw strut from rockauto on clearance.the trw strut came in a sachs wrapper.the trw strut fit but wasn't strong enough to hold up the hatch.the sachs strut was totally wrong and wouldn't even fit.i think they sent me returned items.i did get my money back.
Yes, the SACHS SG204001 (w/glass w/rear wiper) usually will fit and are strong in a way,
that the one standing behind the tailgate must take care for not getting an uppercut.
I had them on my former Aero as well. Quite possible that the one wich does not fully extend was once a returned item.
No doubt, the return/refund policy and handling @Rock works seamlessly.
