Front Grill bars

I seem to inly find complete grill assemblies. i am looking for just the center bars --the ones the SS covers bolt to. I looked at LMC/Carpenter and Mid 50. Anyone sell just the center bars or a 48-50 F1?

Back a few years ago I bought a junk grill to salvage a couple of bars that were bent on my grill. Those bars are not easy to straighten,

The 48-50 grille is reproduced and sold only as an assembly, afaik. That's the only way I've seen it. You can buy a used grille for salvage, as Bill suggested. The alternative is stepping up with $4-500 for the offshore copy. I have no idea what the quality is like on those. If you just need one or two bars, the used search may pay off. If your grille is all bashed in, it may be worthwhile to buy the reproduction. A perfect used one will be difficult to find, and if you have to buy 2 or 3 used grilles to get enough pieces, that would likely exceed the price of the repro.

Are you missing just 1 or 2 bars or all bars?

I literally threw one into the back of my truck today to take to the scrap yard. The whole grill was pretty bad. Might be able to salvage two pieces from it. The problem is shipping any automobile parts to the US from Canada is just not worth it any more. From the shipping charges to the tariffs and duty just drive up the costs. I hope you can find the parts you need locally. Doug.
