Maybe I should just set my goals to “hopped up reliability”. This is my DD and work truck so I think I should just plan around something more conservative. That was the reason I went with the Stock Plus KC Turbo and not something hotter even though I had a bit of buyers remorse after hearing that whistle and wanting some more!
Yep, Adam has bent stock pushrods at low power. @TheFecalFanatic has the tools I loan out. Mic, shims, compressors...kind of the community set. Most toss in whatever extras they have plus stupid stuff. There is a compression test kit around we need to find. Ideal time to do that while under the rocker cover, see if you can beat my 200psi hole
Do one bank one weekend, other the following if pressed for time. Valve action makes power, they are about $120 last I checked, no clue on pushrods now.
I have abuild thread and may make a new one for it.
Might do it with engine in with hood removed.
Going to make a platform to go around the front to make it easier to do and re use it for planters.
Need to do some data logging prior and get some push rods but RR is out of stock

Cool, after my turbo install I was thinking about a topside creeper or something like you describe, I can see the necessity for it in the job you’re about to do. Too bad about the pushrods however, do you go OEM or otherwise?
Did either of you guys have @TheFecalFanatic mail out the spring tools and such?
He posted up the plans for the tool, I have a metal fab shop so I might get to that or if it’s available at the time I need it rely upon the kindness of strangers.
