What's everyone using for window cleaner for their tinted windows? Is there some brand of window cleaner made for tinted windows (with no alcohol or ammonia)?
Water and a microfiber cloth works good for most. Other than that, any window cleaner without ammonia is generally safe. Some will have "tint safe" on the bottle or can.
Sprayway - no ammonia. You can find it at Wally world.
This ^ I’ve been using aerosol sprayway for so many years on tinted windows. It’s easy to find, at a good price, and with a micro-fiber towel, it’s hard to beat. I buy it by the case at Sam’s.
I've just been using spray window cleaner (windex or similar) never paid attention to what's in it.
I've never dealt with tint that is applied, but I can see how Windex could be a problem, since it has ammonia in it (or most variations of it do, there are some that don't and are sold as 'ammonia free').

I try to get ammonia free but doesn't always happen. I've never had my tint bubble or peel but doesn't mean maybe todays the day it starts. 😉
I used to help a buddy with his solid surface (Himacs and Corian) countertop business. He would only use and recommend ammonia free Windex for cleanup because the ammonia would contribute to surface clouding/dulling and leaving a waxy type build-up on the countertop material.
