I noticed that the 2026 dash buttons have been moved and some eliminated. My 2024 has a really nice physical button that turns off the center screen for better night vision. I can’t find that button on the 2026s. Is it gone? That would suck. Also, the parking sensor alarm button is gone. Never used that button but some might miss it. I used the Screen Off button a lot.
Does the screen off button still exist on the 2026s? Is it in a sub menu requiring multiple steps to activate?
Thanks,

I'm not sure about the blank screen, but the parking sensor "button" shows up on the screen when in reverse and the backup camera is on. I miss the physical buttons from my 2021 as well.
Yeah they dropped or moved a lot of the buttons across the top of the dash.
The button to turn the center screen off (or rather just make it black since it isn't really 'off') is gone but I think it's available in one of the menus, I don't ever turn mine off so I haven't looked for it.
As stated, the parking alarm button is now digital and pops up in your DIC when in reverse (I presume it also pops up at low speed when a front sensor is triggered if you have them).
My FIL's '23 XLT has 6 buttons across the top of the dash. My '25 has two. His camera button and 4-way button are up top, mine are down between the volume and tune *****.
I believe gassers only have one button up top now. Someone had an SO 6.7 that was mis-built and only had one button, when he should have had the exhaust brake button there as well.
I’ll tell you, I live in Montana and it can get really dark outside without all the city ambient light found elsewhere. It’s nice being able to just reach over and hit a single button and not have that Nav screen light in your face degrading your night vision. Burying it in a submenu is just stupid. That button was golden.

Try it at night. You’ll be amazed at how much better you can see. Just touch the screen anywhere when you want/need it back on.

I have always been one to turn the dash lights down really low - haven't needed to turn the center screen off though. Drive in the dark for 4 months out of the year and have for years.
