True. I can wait to finish moving the tank under the bed in my truck so I can start driving it again. I miss driving my truck.

How long has it been? Why do you need to move the truck's tank?

the truck was a government ordered state park vehicle in cali. There was no in cab tank, which I don't like anyway. They mounted a 32 gallon side saddle tank into the bed.
I wanted my bed back, plus the tank would lose fuel pressure when the heat here gets to a certain level.
It would cause it to no start and leave me stranded and waiting for a tow truck.

My buddy with a bronco crawler rig, swapped out a mustang tank for a fuel cell. So now I have his tank.
I picked up a little electric fuel pump that will also allow passive pass-thru. This allows me to keep the tank primed and use the mechanical fuel pump after the initial start.
I just need to get the new holes for the rear crossmember drilled so I can finalize the mounting. Then work out the position of the filler neck in the bed floor.
Other things have been on my plate lately so I haven't been able to get back to the truck.
I have most things back to a manageable level so I hope to get back to the truck 'soon'.

oh, I forgot the first part of your question. It has been about a several years since I parked it.
I still crank it and move it around occasionally. Mostly when I need the garage to work on one of the other vehicles.
The thing that killed my momentum once I have what I needed to complete the install was when the state changed the law for classic tags.
Anyone with a classic tag had to have specifically classic insurance. My insurance would not give me classic insurance when I didn't have another vehicle to drive.
they said it would put to many miles on the truck. I actually only have the classic tags to avoid the hassle of smog checking every year.
It passes, but I hate having to do it. I know it's dumb but that's how I am.
Since it was in a state I couldn't trust it crank back up, I ended up turning in the tags until I get it reliable again.
Now I am jonesing to drive it again.
