Well, I received test results back from ASE. Passed them all. Haven't taken a test in 20 plus years and they word those questions so darn confusing. You are not given what questions you answered incorrectly only how many you got correct. Well I guess a pass is a pass. Hoping these certs. will help in future job prospects.Wish me luck!
No, not really looking to be a mechanic. Did that for 25 plus years, all for private companies(didn't need to be certified). Results from a auto accident won't let me do that anymore, but would like to apply my tech knowledge to a support tech program. So far current jobs want certifications and a college degree. Working on the certs. and possibly a college education. Any idea what job I should be looking for? All this extra time and I can't put my finger on it.
I am looking into that with the local high school tech programs. Have had 2 phone interviews for that kind of position. No offers yet, it's a employers market right now but do have my fingers crossed.
