Just wondering if a lightly bent tie rod is OK to straighten or just toss it?
I straighten one on my black 56 I drove in high school when I didn't have 2 nickels to rub together and it's still on the truck some 100,000 miles and 40 years later. And it was bent really bad
I actually forgot I ever did this until I saw your post. Me and a buddy were on a GPA (generic cat adventure) in west Virginia and I hit a large rock when I was parking along the road/ditch. Buy the time we got home ( back to Akron) the front tires were ate up

I never heard of that before . I thought GPA stood for Grade Point Average. LOL Must have been an Ohio thing from the early 80's.
