My 23 crew cab short bed diesel 4x4 is needing tires soon. What everyone running for tires ? My 150 has BFG and look like I’ll get a lot more miles out of them. Thinking I’ll get same on the 350. Any suggestions. Thanks.
I have been very happy with my Falken Wildpeak AT4’s. Excellent traction in wet conditions, which was very important to me. They do have the 3 PMSF rating. They are HD rated so great under the 6.7 and for towing, and they are wearing excellent. After 36+ thousand miles they have lots of tread left. Measured yesterday while rotating them, 12.5 on the rear and 13.5 on the front. At this rate I will easily get the expect 60k out of them. They ride quiet and they look really great too. These will be my go to tires as long as they keep making them.
Saying that, my second choice was the MT Baja Boss. Like the Wildpeaks, they get excellent reviews as well, but they cost a little more than the Wildpeaks.

I ran 2 sets of AT3's on my previous F350 with 18 inch wheels and loved them. Only negative was that if at a stop light during rain, if I accelerated normally and hit the crosswalk paint, the tires would slip a bit but was never a big issue. Been waiting to see a pick of an Alumiduty with AT4's and stock 20 inch wheels to see if I like the look. I'm one of the odd one's that like the stock chrome wheels.
I went to a slightly larger set of 295/65R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G3s. They only weigh 62 lbs and are rated for 4080 lbs of load capacity. Smoother than the factory Bridgestone ATs.

I also went with the same tire and size, and like them very much.

how are these for noise on the highway. I just did a omplete kilmat on the floors, doors and back wall of the truck. Running ko3s that need replaced so they are starting to whine like a 4 year old in Kmart, but they were pretty quiet new. New Carli pathfinder suspension is going in next month along with the Method NV 305s I just got delivered. Only thing now is the tire decision.
I want the quiet but look aggressive and be an actual 35" tire. So many listed at 35" but are actually 34" WTF is up with that...

thanks
They are actually quite quiet (like that) on the highway. Might be just a tad more noise than OEM Bridgestones, but with your Kilmat, you probably wouldn’t notice at all. Incidentally, I found the Bridgestones to be a decent tire, I just wanted the next size up and the more aggressive look.
On my 17 F350 I had the stock Michelin, Toyo AT3, Nitto Ridge Grapplers and then the Falken Wildpeak AT4. Of all those tires I liked the Falken best and will be going with those when the stocks wear out on my 2025 tremor. They look good, they performed good, they wore good and drove nicely.

yeah, several 4x4 shops are telling me Falken AT4W. My only concern is the winter performance which seems to be crap if you believe every test I've seen on them.

I haven't heard that winter performance for the AT4's are crap, however, they're not as good as the AT3's. Some video's I have seen show the MT Baja Bosses being a better choice in primarily winter conditions. In my limited experience with them in snow and ice I have been quite happy. I had no concerns. The Wildpeak 3's set a bar and the 4's are not far behind, at least in terms of wet/snow/ice conditions, however, they are doing better in other area's, specifically in great wear and long life, even under the 6.7 and towing. Fortunately, I didn't need them for lots of snow and ice, but rainy/wet conditions are a concern, and in these area's in my experience, they have been excellent!

Mine have been fine in the snow and ice. I've only ever had to use 4 wheel drive once and it was when I was pulling the horse trailer.
