Those aren't BoxLink. Those are the useless ones they put in now. BoxLink support the BoxLink anchors and work with eTrack accessories.

For $20 or less you can get a set of knockoff boxlink plates instead of those worthless tie down plates they provide now

I got these on amazon for about $50. They stay in whatever position you put them at. No rattles

Them are nice!
How much force can you put on them before the aluminum pulls out?

If they're anything like mine (see link below) they screw directly into the factory holes, so they should take the exact same amount of force as the factory plates.

I just ran a motorcycle tie down strap thru each plate and ran one end thru the other. These straps are shaped like a figure 8 and about one foot long. I can connect any type hook from any tie down straps to these straps.
Pick up a set of 4 from Amazon for about $15. Light, strong, and inexpensive.

I've got a set if you need them. I removed them and went back to the previous style.

Ford's owner's manual lists a maximum force of 276 lbs between directly opposed cleats and 600 lbs diagonally for general anchor points

I've got a set or two lying around. Though shipping them would probably cost more than just buying knockoffs from Amazon.
Located in South Jersey if you are close by.
