Transmission Identification, need help
Hello, I just recently pulled the transmission from my 1989 Ford F-250 with the 302 engine. The transmission plate read E9TA BA, can anyone steer me in the right direction in identifying this transmission? Thank you

If automatic, look at the pan. Number of bolts and shape?

If you’re trying to get another, make sure it’s from/for a 4wd. I could be wrong, but I believe I read somewhere that tail cones don’t just swap.

Yup. Mazda M5OD. The ribs are vertical and horizontal.

The ZF has diagonal ribs.

Yes. The M5OD I removed



ZF-5 in its place
