Cruise control problems
i have a 99 4x4 with a 4.0 i just got it and the cruise isnt working. It worked the first time i drove it and stopped. Ihave checked (and rechecked) every fuse on it. It seems like it wants to kick in but then the pedal seems like it pops up. Anything i can do. Im a high school student on a limited budget. Cheaper is better. Thanx.

I read here before about the switches on the clutch and brake pedals. Sometimes they can get turned or out of position and give a false signal that one of them is depressed thus causing the cruise control not to work properly. Could be worth looking into.

Hey i figured it out! The cable from the sevo to the throttle body was disconnected from the throttle cable. I dont know how it happened there are clips to hold it on, but it came off. Thanx bob for the link. and everyone else who replied
