Suspension help

Hello Everyone, I'm hoping the experts here on the site can help me identify the rear suspension for my 1970 f100. I believe its a flex o Matic. the problem is that i cant seem to fine any information on what i took off my truck. It looks like a normal flex o Matic but it has a second set of leaf springs on top of it. Im wondering, was this factory or someone just stiffing the suspension.

Yes, it is a flexo spring set with aftermarket helper springs.
