researching a ford 360
My 65 F-350 has no motor in it.I have a 85 jeep wagoneer with, iam told,a ford 360 in it. Are these the same 360`s that ford put in their trucks. If so what kind of performance might i expect out of it if i put it in my truck? would it be underpowered? I have never had a 360

It's got plenty of power if it's a motor in good condition. I would suggest the following upgrades to get the most power out of it:
1. Edelbrock performer intake manifold (or a stock 4-bbl intake if you like heavy, but cheap, items...)
2. Holley 600cfm vacuum secondary
3. A good set of headers, coated if you dont want them to rust
I hauled 1.2tons of gravel this summer in my truck like it wasnt there, except for the springs coming within about 3 inches from bottoming out!
It is MOST DEFINATELY NOT underpowered, and would be right at home in that F-350.
Edit: Make sure it's not the mopar 360, because it'd be one heck of a job to put a ford 360 in a jeep.
