Interior Lighting
Just replace the multi-function switch on my 99 Expedition coz of a malfunctioning left rear turn signal and left brake light. The problem has been fixed but now another problem popped up. All the interior lights and running board lights wont shut off. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem besides disconnecting the negative battery terminal

where did you get your switch? I got a couple from Autozone for my Bronco II and they were both for my year truck, both did different things! One made the hi-lo beams work okay, but the turn signals didn't work, the other made the turn signals work, but not the hi-lo of my headlights! I was going to go to ford and get a factory one, but instead took my original one apart and fixed it with a drop of soder. The point is maybe the swith is wrong, or has a short in it.
