Clone VCMII
I searched and saw all the potential problems with a clone VCMII. I actually have a real FoMoCo VCMII I'm more curious on the software side of the house the legit IDS subscription is outrageous and the local dealer won't even attempt to program it. Anyone had luck programming older trucks with the following clone IDS listing? I tried with FORSCAN but I have a 2002 and FORSCAN simply can't program the older trucks.

Just a follow up. I ended up buying the one with the computer and it works great I was able to program a new ABS module on my 2002 7.3. Just had to go to the Motorcraft website and download the As-built data and the code. Also can now fix my speedometer ratio to match my tires
