Daytime running light tap help?

I have an aftermarket bumper with Led fog lights, I have run the lights into the factory wiring however I have a third wire to power the daytime running lights. I would like tap the headlight side marker (not monitored) but I cant seem to figure out how to get to one. Do I really need to remove most of the stuff above the grill?

You should turn off fog lights once up to speed. Too much light up close, wrecks your fistance night vision.

I used an outfitter switch.

You can grab the wire where it exits the fuse box.

I tapped my led side vent lights into headlight harness no issues. Watch f150led.com install vids to see how.

Yea my aftermarket fogs have a daytime running light feature that I want to use the tap for. They are just backlit the full light isn’t on.

yea there’s what I was hoping to avoid. Popping all those grill pieces off I always seem to break something.

I didn't pop anything off the grill. I went in behind the light just disconnect it from the light housing. Go look at side vent lights on f150led and you'll see how I did it

Is this the video? My 2024 platinum has so much stuff packed in behind that headlight. I might try taking the air filter out of the passenger side.

Okay I’ll tackle that later. What are you running? How did you wire it? I reused my factory fog light wiring to run the positive and negative so I could utilize the factory fog button (and used forscan to deactivate the fog on turn, and activate Bambi). So now I’m just hoping to tap the DRL light to power my fog led running lights 🤞

I'm running those side vent lights in the video. They're set for my running lights. I'm about to tackle a small rock light in each foot step along the bed.

Looks like the drivers side battery box is ran under this tank so I’m unable to remove it

I’m not sure why I’m struggling so hard with this but I couldn’t get to the plug on the drivers side so I moved to the passenger. Took out the air box and I only have one master plug (confirmed on the f150led page looking at their plug and play harness). Now I’m trying to find the wiring diagram to determine what to tap. Lots of ‘22-‘23 stuff out there but having a hard time locating 2024 with the led projectors (platinum).

I don't have the projector I have the led bulbs. I'd bet $ if you find the answer on a 22 f250 it's the same wire. But I have a 21k page service manual. I'll try to see if I can't find it. I found my answer for this bed step project on the tremor f250 forum so I joined that too.
