I have an aftermarket bumper with Led fog lights, I have run the lights into the factory wiring however I have a third wire to power the daytime running lights. I would like tap the headlight side marker (not monitored) but I cant seem to figure out how to get to one. Do I really need to remove most of the stuff above the grill?
I didn't pop anything off the grill. I went in behind the light just disconnect it from the light housing. Go look at side vent lights on f150led and you'll see how I did it
No, go to the 2023+ video. Not gonna lie, there video super easy when you dont have 2 batteries. It was tight that's for sure. Took the battery out and air filter but i was swapping out the air filter anyways
Okay I’ll tackle that later. What are you running? How did you wire it? I reused my factory fog light wiring to run the positive and negative so I could utilize the factory fog button (and used forscan to deactivate the fog on turn, and activate Bambi). So now I’m just hoping to tap the DRL light to power my fog led running lights 🤞
I'm running those side vent lights in the video. They're set for my running lights. I'm about to tackle a small rock light in each foot step along the bed.
I’m not sure why I’m struggling so hard with this but I couldn’t get to the plug on the drivers side so I moved to the passenger. Took out the air box and I only have one master plug (confirmed on the f150led page looking at their plug and play harness). Now I’m trying to find the wiring diagram to determine what to tap. Lots of ‘22-‘23 stuff out there but having a hard time locating 2024 with the led projectors (platinum).
I don't have the projector I have the led bulbs. I'd bet $ if you find the answer on a 22 f250 it's the same wire. But I have a 21k page service manual. I'll try to see if I can't find it. I found my answer for this bed step project on the tremor f250 forum so I joined that too.
