This morning it was 20 degrees and windy after 4” of fresh snow here in Elkhart IN. We overnighted in a Cracker Barrel parking lot before dropping the fiver off at the factory to have some warranty work addressed. When I started the truck, 2024 F-450 Lariat Ultimate it returned to Tow/Haul mode where I had had it the day before but the trailer data displayed showed the fiver had 24,560 miles with an average MPG of 24.5. The truck only has 19,300 miles on it, the trailer actually has 14,650 miles on it with a 9.3 average MPG. The incorrect data stayed on the dash display until the truck shutdown after 30 minutes or whatever the auto shutdown duration is, while I was cleaning the snow off and transferring all of the stuff we need out of the trailer. When I restarted it all of the trailer data came back to the actual info and was fine and normal for the tow over to the factory. It was pretty strange and the first time that I’ve seen it show incorrect data, has anyone else ever experienced this?

stray electrons
There are many modules that wake up ,during start
Any slight mis que will cause all kinds of weirdness
battery voltage , etc
I have found.. with the explorer and the f250
If i remote start. It happens far less
We are asking the equivalent ofvthe space shuttle to boot up...
If it clears on next start..dont worry
If it continues then
Start troubleshooting
Battery state of charge, loads at start, etc
just the cost of having so many mini computers onboard....eveyone has a sequence, even though its milliseconds. If one gets out of sequence it causes odd behaviors
imo
