Transfer case

So I learned the 92-97 f-series had two different transfer cases (should’ve known that from the start lol) to my knowledge it’s the 1356 and 4407

now my question is which was more commonly used on the 94.5-97 f350 powerstrokes with the e4od? From I can find it seems to be the 4407 with the flange yoke and not the slip yoke to the rear axle (at least according to rockauto when I open a power stroke f350’s driveshaft section) can someone tell me a bit more? Im curious

The 4407 was 96 and 97HD only 8501gvwr and above. Light duty 5.8 trucks still used the 1356. The 1356 was in everything else all the way back to 87.

so basically all 96-97 powerstrokes (f-250HD and f-350) had the 4407 with the flange yoke? Good to know thanks
