23+ Alpharex Headlights

I’m liking the amber drl. I think they also did a nice job with the middle led strip it actually follows the grille curvature and flows. The projector beams also look nice. Can’t wait to see them on a few trucks next and see their light output.

They do look pretty good, for being aftermarket. Amber drl is pretty sweet.

alpharex seems to make some pretty solid stuff from the looks of it but I’ve never had them before

I'm going to do some kind of replacement of my halogens. I don't know much about the different brands. has anyone heard anything about the ETA for the Morimoto XB headlights? Those alpharex look good!

Past posts on this site seem to be a mixed bag on Morimoto. Some were OK with them and some despised them after trying. But I haven't actually seen mention of them on these pages in quite some time. Especially for the newest generation truck.

Those do look pretty nice. Almost factory looking, vs lots of the normal aftermarket ones that look like after thoughts.

I'm liking them. Hoping some people on here purchase and post some pics, both daytime/nighttime and light output.

I don't see those on their website. Have they been released yet?

I just looked at Morimoto's site. No mention of Evo or anything else for 2023 and up that I could see. Only XB for trucks up to 2022.
Same for Alpharex at this point. Up to 2022 only.

Looks like both the Morimotos and Alpharex will require a grill swap for halogens owners to upgrade. I asked morimoto on facebook about the grill and they said it was not needed, but didnt provide any pictures of how the lights would integrate with the halogen grill...i have low expectations. Morimoto released theirs at SEMA.

The market for 23+ is going to be smaller. The LED reflector lamps in the STX and XT Premium packages are pretty darn good, I drove mine last night after taking delivery and it is going to be a steep hill to climb for aftermarket makers.

The only possible pool of buyers now are people who have either non-STX XL, or non-Premium XT buyers, everything else has either reflector or projector LED headlights. And those buyers are gonna be hard to convince to drop another 4 figures on a headlamp swap.

Very true, I just wish we had an option to change to amber DRL's instead of the white.
