If you think an additive will actually fix something, then your stupid anyways
It may "fix" bad gas mileage
but it wont help bearings and such if they are worn out
and seafoam works good
There is a post on this website that talks about additives. I think it is called "snake oil".
In short most additives have been shown to have little or no benefit, in a reasonably healthy engine. Some have been shown to actually cause harm. As long as you use a good oil that meets API and SAE spec for your engine and change regularly, you don't need additives.
Differnt story for an engine that is in bad shape. Then an additive can be thought of as a bandaid to get you thru until you can do something permanent to fix the problem.
