Am I reading Fords 2026 online truck build correct?
I am interested in the F150 Lobo. but I don't see it in a Super cab, looks like super crew only ?
I'm also interested in F150XLT super cab in blue with black out package.Looks like super crew and black only?
I currently have a 2020 F150XLT super cab, velocity blue with black out pkg.
Why is ford limiting us !!
i'm looking for a new SC, to get anywhere near my 05 lariat sc/sb i would have to settle for a xlt and pay $65.000.00 for it ,
ford this is what i want without the v10 of course
Henry Ford said, "you can have any color you want as long as it's black". Ford and Detroit for that matter are simply following Japan's lead. It's more profitable and limits assembly line interruptions.
Another consideration is in the hierarchy of truck cabs, people associate super and regular cab with work trucks and few are willing to pay close to retail for a "fleet spec" truck.
If people who ordered Lariat and higher in fact insist on Super Cabs, Ford would have to give in. But as it is most just say "ah screw it, SCrew is fine" then of course Ford would want to sell you a Supercrew.
I have in when the tremor package came out on the super duty and got a crew cab. While I like the tremor package, I am not a fan of the crew cab. I just don’t need that much cab space, I rafter have bed space. But it seems most people buying trucks use them as passenger vehicles and really don’t need to have the bed space. The super cab 6.6’ works out well for me. I had a number of regular cab trucks and they worked well too. But it’s nice to have just enough room to put a few things behind the front seat, dog and a duffel bag. The large cab takes longer to warm up it winter too.
