Wifey decides she wants to change what the front face of the instrument panel looks like and install the indiglo gauges, anyway
so off to ebay she went and looked it up...
The 97 kit looked nothing like the one in our car yet it is a 97
the 98 kit did look exactly like it... so we got that.
Anyways installed it over the weekend, Pain in the **** getting the old black face off and those dangly anolog pointers are scarry loose and flop around everywhere..
Anyways got it installed and put back together, started the car everything working fine...
didnt drive the car that weekend until this morning going to work, the car would not shift gears... would litterally have to put it from D to 2 to get to 2nd gear and then from 2nd to 3rd i practicallty had to rev it way up and let off the throttle quickly, doesnt last long becuase it just drops back in 2nd again.
read someplace that removing the instrument panel would cause this somehow? and something about a blown fuse No. 26?? (which it is not blown).
What could be the problem, its a brand new tranny and was running perfectly until i pulled the instrument panel.
