Checking my friends 2022 Ford F350 6.7 47k miles stopped truck and got crank no start in the morning . So what i have done , I checked fuse box . Doesn't seem like connector is bad or burnt like i usually see them . I cannot here the pump under the cab at all , checked connector , and when I cycle the key I get power to the pump , (don't know if that is the correct way to check it )Dropped tank and when I give the pump power with my power probe the pump works . SO , i went ahead and checked sensor on top of CP4 and don't see any metal shaving on it . So I am at a loss . Besides relay under the fuse box , is there any other or is my fuel under bed is bad . Any help? I don't know if i am really checking stuff correctly . Any help would be appreciated .
When you say "when I cycle the key I get power to the pump" are you putting the circuit under load? I recommend a 2amp load box aka a H7 lamp
All a diesel needs to start is Air, Fuel and Compression. 50% of the time fuel is the issue.
"A way" is to remove the connector to the engine bay fuel filter and cycle the key. Of course use a bucket to catch the fuel.
The fuel stream should be significant.
, What I did was disconnected the plug from the fuel pump and with a power probe ,(which probably the wrong way to do it ) then I had someone cycle the the get and it has power to the Pump . But what I did not know was that diesels for this year also have a fuel pump control model . And finally found it on a video " showing how to drain your fuel tank" . SO I think that is what my issue is , Fuel Pump Relay or Module was not working I checked it how it shows on the video and Pump started working !!... I think what threw me off was the actual codes on it . So I will put everything back together and I should be good . The only good thing about me tearing it all apart was that I was able to check CP4 for any metal shavings . My friend was talking about maybe adding the DCR Pump so we will see if he wants to do it know or wait ... Thanks for your help .
I don't know if it does i will ask him , but no dice , Still not starting after fuel module replaced , same crank no start , now just the p062A code now . Same thing , the pick up pump is not turning on

So just a follow up , the issue I had was a bad ground . Seems ground wasn't making contact to the pump till I took it off cleaned it and screwed it back . This is the ground that was close to the fuel Pump Module on the frame .. Now once I got it running now I am getting P0087 , so I will be waiting for the fuel regular and of course if still get same code then DCR Pump it is ..
