New guy to the forum. I just bought a bullnose ('81) F150 that had a 70's "factory" topper installed. But It's heavy, doesn't match and I've got no inclination to keep it.
I'm respectful of old equipment and don't want to trash it, but want it gone. Is there a proper forum/protocol for trading, selling, or giving away period correct equipment?
I'm located in central ND. That's a ways from ID. If there is someone nearby, they are welcome to come take it. I don't intend to trash it, but I don't know how long my wife or neighbors would tolerate this sitting in the yard.
It needs a cleaning and I'll try to post a pic, but I'm willing to trade it for a 12 pack of Summit.
Sliding glass is broken, all other glass is good. Had roof rack mounted. Covered in moss, but is period correct and "factory option" for 70's trucks (matches cab body lines).

Reason: Re-coded post so that photo would display.
It is OK to offer parts for free in the tech forum, without having to use FTE Marketplace.
I had a 1979, and remember well the change of body in 1980 that messed up shell selection.
If the shell is a match for '73-'79, then THIS is the sub-forum to offer it for free to members, not the 1980-1986 sub-forum.
Some '73-'79 owners would kill, or at least draw blood, for a period correct camper shell with the more angled rake front window of the shell to match the more angled rake of the back of cab greenhouse during the mid to late '70's.
