Is your air filter the oil bath type? Most of them came with that type. A 1961 F100 is not called out in the drawing from the 1957-1963 MPC but both the text section and the 1961 specific Truck Parts and Accessories catalog say it should be an oil bath so if still original that maybe it. The drawing below shows a common setup but as you can see the F100 and F250 are not part of those called out on this drawing. If it is like shown, then you are probably needing that base number 9A627 that supports the long tube by the hole in the middle. Perhaps this will spark an idea of how to create your own.
It's a large oil bath air cleaner with normally a collar that clamps the top of the Holley 1904 and the bottom of the air cleaner, then it is tightened with a long threaded rod
I've seen that type before, too. Slightly newer years do not have the clamp around the top of the carburetor like that but use a center threaded stud sticking up from the center support of the carburetor. There are varieties so always good to make sure what is in play.
Do you need the threaded rod that provides the clamping effect, the clamp itself or is it missing the rubber seal around the base of the air cleaner so the clamp can't tighten down or what do you suppose?
This is similar to what my 300 6-cylinder with oil bath uses. You can see the support piece over the top of the Autolite 1 barrel and the threaded stud coming up from that. The oil bath top has a hole in the center that the stud passes through and a wing nut goes on top.
Similar to what the 292 and 352 V8s use, too, except there is no bale support piece as the center stud just screws into the middle round hole of the carburetor air horn.
I see we discussed this before, too. Problem is the clamp was only supplied as part of the oil bath air cleaner 9600 base number so there is no separate part number documented for the clamp. Were it me I'd be looking for either an NOS air cleaner with clamp or find someone selling just the clamp - likely a used part. With no separate base number for the clamp, I can't look up a part number for it.
I started going page by page in the MPC which is not the most effective way to find parts, but I think it is the B7C-9628-A. Using that number - NumberDummy discussed it once before. Obsolete and nobody has any.
There is an adapter which converts a Holley 1904 to use a center stud. Not sure if that would work with your air cleaner if you drilled a center hole in it and maybe used a longer threaded stud?? Maybe something workable there.
