LED headlights 2004 explorer E B

hi all , would these led lights be plug an play without any issues? An HOW. Fo you change the bulbs Looks like removing the whole headlights assembly.

Does your Eddie Bauer have the lamp out warning? If so, these may not be a direct fit without a load resistor/CANBus error device.

You should not need to remove the entire headlight assembly to replace the bulbs, the bulbs are installed from behind the headlamp assembly. There are likely videos that will explain this better than words.

No lamp out warning I just wanted brighter lights
umm, the headlights need to be removed from the vehicle it’s pretty easy , I hope it’s just a plug and play

Oh, interesting. Apparently either the Mountaineer is different or I never had to replace the bulbs in it.

Regarding the lamp out warning, I am referring to the information center displaying if you have a headlight out. LED headlights draw less current than the OEM bulbs, so converting to LEDs could cause the info center to think the headlights are not working.

I hope it’s just plug an play
I ve owned since new 2004 an don’t want to be messing with the bulbs
