Injector or ?
I have been experiencing a lack of power, lower fuel mileage (2mpg) and alot of black smoke during acceleration. I use to hit around 40 lbs of boost but now only about 35. My truck was live tuned with 180/30 full force injectors with about 10,000 miles on them. My truck would only smoke a little in the highest tune. The other tunes were crystal clear. Now every tune will put out a lot of black smoke and then clear up at higher rpm's. 2001 Engine sounds normal and runs good. I have no boost leaks, new up pipes, new icp sensor, new map sensor, new AFE filter, no EBP valve, wastegate disconnected, injector buzz test ok, cylinder contribution ok, rotational has 1 cylinder at 2.0 perdels the others are lower. Engine has regulated return with custom fuel system at 65 psi. I am leaning towards a bad injector but all tests come back ok. If an injector is stuck and fuel is pouring in, wouldn't this actually increase power? I don't want to start pulling injectors, but I am at a loss as to what it could be. Any help will be appreciated.
